TISSUE Magazine Mixtape 47 by Luzi Gehrisch
Latest TISSUE Magazine mixtape is made by the marvelous young and promising DJ Luzi Gehrisch. Now based in Leipzig, she is originally from Frankfurt, where she is known for playing at the STAY parties at Robert Johnson in Offenbach. Luzi tells that it was actually not her intention to become a DJ, ”… it just happened…”, but listening to the mix, we are happy it did.

I dare you to ask Anastasiya Lazurenko about her work. You will be dismissed with her invariable “Fuck, what am I supposed to say?”. Lazurenko’s work is not about an “artistic statement” — it’s about the moment. The most memorable of them come about by accident. The shoot with Zhenya was one of such occasions, when one summer weekend things went wild. Everyone went high off their heads on psychoactive stimulants and the moment was captured in a series of portraits.

Danielle Neppell and Kara Souza are a creative duo based in New York City. This story was inspired by future identity processing and systematic routine. Shot in a subway station in Upper East Side, it features pieces by rising New York fashion designer Olivia LeBlanc’s label ØBLANC and The Break.
