For their portrait session Ghosts in Wonderland/Poeme Spanish photographer Raúl Hidalgo and his colleague, director and writer Eduardo Gión, went out to an abandoned location with soft skinned model Nikita Wolfe. With hints to Harmony Korine’s Gummo, Larry Clark movies or Coppola’s Outsiders the two recreate dreamscapes and characters. Analog imagery and thrasher shirts add some kind of poetic touch and a dose of teen angst to their work.
