We like our artists/muses. In fact, we like them so much, that when they happen to turn out being both at the same time, we lock them on the balcony. In the snow. Just like our friend Julija Goyd for TISSUE N°1 below, who couldn’t be more oblivious to the meteorological facts.
Born in 1979 in Lithuania, Goyd lives and works in Berlin, dealing mainly with the themes of beauty, sexuality and eroticism. In recent years, her work has been shown in cities like Berlin, New York and her hometown Vilnius, as well as in the photobook The Naked & the Nude, curated by Peter Weiermair, alongside works of Wolfgang Tillmanns, Nobuyoshi Araki and others.
