Camille, 22. I met this beautiful and bright girl at psychology class. It was misty, drizzling rain, around 8pm on a warm spring night. She lives in a busy Greenwich village just next to a Comedy Cellar. I was waiting for her for 20 minutes on her doorsteps while the psychic woman was annoyingly knocking with her long nail on the glass to invite me in every time in a while. Camille is an American, native New Yorker, born into a French family, fluent in French. She studied international politics in Los Angeles, majored in English and French literature. Sings in a folk band, loves jazz and cabaret music. Works at Pratt as a teacher in an internship program.

New Yorkers, New York girls … Special, beautiful, rare, smart, very different from each other creatures and absolute jewels to me. I’m trying to find girls who were not shot by Petra Collins. I’m trying to find girls who don’t like social media and iPhones, who were not photographed before. She is as special as any other I meet by chance somewhere in NYC or any other city.
